Becky
Renowned broadcaster Rebecca Tweneboah Darko, known as Becky, with Joy News of the Multimedia Group, has been nominated for the Emerging Brands in Africa Awards.
She was nominated for her role at Multimedia Group Limited, where she’s served as a team lead and journalist for over a decade. Becky is recognised for hosting and producing popular shows like “E Vibes” on Joy News and Joy Prime.
The awarding board describes Becky as a distinguished Ghanaian broadcast journalist worthy of recognition. As an entertainment host and entrepreneur, she’s expanded her influence into corporate and business sectors.
Becky was appointed Regional Manager for Umbrella Management Group in August 2024, leading efforts to expand the firm’s footprint across Africa. She founded and manages GS Concierge Ltd, a luxury lifestyle and travel management company, and serves as News Manager for GS Global Magazine, a US-based publication.
Becky’s work has earned her several accolades, including Media Personality of the Year and TV Personality of the Year at the Ghana Media and Entrepreneurship Awards in October 2025.
