The crème de la crème in the aviation industry were awarded at the event for offering exceptional services to customers.

Kenpong Travel and Tours Limited received the award due to the numerous domestic tour packages it has promoted in the country.

Chief Executive of Kenpong Group, Kennedy Agyepong was adjudged the CEO of the Year for his contributions to the aviation industry.

Kenpong Travel and Tours got three nominations and won two awards.

Chief Operations Officer of Kenpong Group in-charge of the Travel and Tours, Mohammed Alhassan, who received the awards on behalf of the company and the CEO, expressed excitement, saying “hard work indeed pays.

“We decided not to just concentrate on ticketing and international tourism but strengthen and promote local African tourism and this has paid off.

“There are beautiful tourist sites in Ghana and in Africa and we encourage people to visit these sites for their tours instead of focusing on Europe, America, etc where visas are difficult to get,” he said.

Mr Alhassan hinted that his outfit would embark on more tours, especially in Ghana and Africa.
