King Eazie Drops Song To Fight Covid-19
One of Ghana’s urban gospel artistes, Kingsley Ezekiel Nablah, aka King Eazie, has released his latest song to sensitize Ghanaians to the deadly Covid-19.
With the rate at which Covid-19 is spreading, everyone is trying to help in the fight against it in their various ways.
King Eazie, a gospel artiste with a huge following and influence, has decided to do a song to help fight the spread of the virus.
He believes Ghanaians won’t perish if they pray to the Almighty God and adhere to precautionary measures.
The song produced by Scooter Beats and featured by fellow urban gospel acts such as Besa and KLord, is also to sensitize people to how to stay safe during the Covid-19 pandemic, which has claimed thousands of lives across the globe.
In the song, the artiste urged Ghanaians to adhere to the safety and preventive measures issued by the World Health Organization (WHO), including washing the hands with soap under running water, social distancing, covering the mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing.
According to King Eazie, the song aims at pressing home the need for all to observe the precautionary measures outlined by the WHO; whether one is a believer in a supernatural being or not.
He said he was motivated to come out with the song, as a reminder to people that even though faith works, it was necessary to adhere to protocols that would prevent the spread of the virus and keep people safe.
“I saw the need to reach out to Christians in and beyond Ghana and assure them that we may not be in good times and we have the full assurance of the word of God that we are conquerors, but till the victory is proclaimed, we have to be safe.”
“The world should not panic because God has us in mind and He will never forsake us but while we wait, we need to wash our hands with soap under running water, use hand sanitizers, put on nose masks, observe social distancing and stay home,” he advised.
