King Promise exchanging pleasantries with President John Mahama
The 2025 end-of-year West Africa Social Activity (WASSA) held at Burma Camp in Accra was graced by some of Ghana’s leading music artistes, marking another momentous occasion for personnel of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).
Reigning Artiste of the Year, King Promise, took centre stage during the event, performing songs like ‘CCTV’, ‘Selfish’, and ‘Paris’, a testament to his exceptional stage presence and captivating vocals.
President John Mahama and other dignitaries of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) were seen on their feet dancing during King Promise’s performance.
Kofi Kinaata also stole the show with an electrifying performance, especially when President Mahama requested his hit song ‘Awurade Bɛgye Steer No’. He also performed hits such as ‘Things Fall Apart’, ‘Confession’, and ‘Effiakuma Broken Heart’.
The event, held at Burma Camp, Accra, was a night of celebration and camaraderie, featuring music, food, and social interaction.
President Mahama also used the occasion to announce plans for Ghana’s first Cyber and Electronic Warfare Centre at the Tamale Air Force Base, aimed at enhancing border surveillance and strengthening national security.
