King Promise and Mr Eazi
Singer, King Promise, and Nigerian star, Mr Eazi, have released a new collaborative single titled ‘That Way’, performed by rising act Fola.
The song is the second single from their upcoming joint project, See What We’ve Done, and highlights the strong musical chemistry the two artists have built over the years.
“That Way” draws inspiration from early 2000s pop, sampling the melody of the Backstreet Boys’ hit “I Want It That Way,” while reworking it into a smooth Afrofusion sound. The track blends nostalgia with modern African pop influences.
At its core, the song is a simple love record, with lyrics centred on devotion and desire for a woman who has become irreplaceable. Both artists take turns expressing commitment and emotional connection without overcomplicating the message.
Production was handled by GuiltyBeatz and JAE5, who deliver a clean and balanced instrumental that allows the vocals to stand out. King Promise’s smooth delivery complements Mr Eazi’s relaxed style, giving the song an easy, conversational feel.
That Way adds to a growing list of collaborations between the two, including Call Waiting, Baby I’m Jealous and Oh Yeah. The release offers another preview of what fans can expect from See What We’ve Done, a project focused on connection, reflection and growth.
