Ghana Football Association (GFA) Ethics Committee chairman COP Kofi Boakye has taken over the association following the fall out of the Tiger Eye PI documentary entitled Number 12.
He has been mandated to go through the Judicial Process of GFA officials shown to have allegedly committed various acts of misconduct in the said documentary.
The decision comes in the wake of the Anas expose which has led to the ban on GFA president, Kwesi Nyantakyi by FIFA and the latter’s resignation.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Police Service has declared the premises of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) inaccessible to staff of the Association until further notice, a statement signed by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sheilla Kessie Abayie-Buckman has said.
The directive follows investigations into the activities of the GFA and its officers following the “Number 12” expose by Tiger Eye PI led by ace journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
To the statement, the premises of the GFA, is a crime scene and the police would provide a 24 hour security for the place and entreated the public to cooperate with investigators.
It urged persons with verifiable information to volunteer them through the financial forensic unit of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
On Friday the Executive Committee met in Accra to roll out measures to address the current happenings.

All Officials of GFA, shown to have allegedly committed various acts of misconduct, in the Tiger Eye PI documentary titled Number 12 shall step aside from their positions and steer away from all football related activities with immediate effect.
It added that GFA shall not interfere in the works of the Ethics Committee and shall embrace any decision that the Ethics Committee may come out with.
According to the statement, the Referees Appointment Committee has been dissolved and that all the competitions of the GFA have temporary been put on hold.
It came up that a five member team comprising Kweku Eyiah (Leader), Benjamin Nab Eyison, Kurt Okraku (Spokesperson), Isaac Addo and Samuel Opoku Nti, has been tasked to meet Government for a resolution of the current impasse as well as draw up a program for lasting reforms.
The suggested that GFA shall soon come out with a road map for the elections of a substantive President in accordance with its Statutes. However, GFA wishes to assure the general public that it shall take all legitimate steps to restore confidence and trust in the beautiful game.
