Konadu Invites Second Batch Of Players For Black Satellites Screening

Ghana U20 head coach Maxwell Konadu has named a new group of promising youngsters for the second phase of the Black Satellites’ screening exercise at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, with all invited players expected to report on today, November 24, 2025.

The latest group features Hardy Obenfo Adjei of Eleven Wonders, Abraham Martey of Emmanuel City FC, Dreams FC’s Rahman Osman, FC Ashantigold ’04 midfielder Sosu Augustine, and Dansoman Liberty Sporting Academy’s Natomah V. Emmanuel, who joins his teammate and MTN Elite U19 standout Yussif Saani in the squad.

Also included is Medeama SC’s Kelvin Nkrumah; Right to Dream Academy’s Ishmael Azaganor; Northern City FC’s Isaac Acheampong, and Swedru All Blacks’ Kwadwo Opoku Gyamfi, alongside Bibiani Goldstars defender Isaac Adjei and Nsoatre Nhyira FC’s Ranold G. Acheampong.

Maverick Soccer Club’s highly-rated midfielder Gideon Otabil has also been handed an opportunity following his impressive showing at the MTN Elite Championship, joining the likes of Benab FC’s Isaac Mensah, Wa Suntaa’s Joseph Amemador, and Koforidua Suhyen FC’s Evans Adutwum Ofori. Home Stars FC forward Harve Gbafa, Namoro Football Academy product Alex Banso, Tema United’s Mathias Senior Apedo, Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Henry Kwaku Boateng, and Attram De Visser’s Hamza Iddrisu have also been drafted in for assessment.

The team is further strengthened by FC Nania’s Edmund Fiifi Asiedu, Madrid FC Dunkwa’s Twumasi Akwaboso, Sankara Nationals attacker Hadi Muhammed, Bechem United’s Rasco London, and Asante Kotoko’s Abdul Isaka.

Completing the group are Belo FC’s Mark Best, Accra Hearts of Oak’s Andy Koramoah, Top Care FC’s Akwasi Wusu, and Dabo SC’s Isaac Kwaku Oti.

The arrival of the second batch follows the completion of the first group’s assessment over the weekend.

The Ghana Football Association says the phased screening process is designed to provide equal opportunity for talented youth players across the country while enabling the technical team to build a strong, competitive squad ahead of the 2026 WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship, which serves as a qualification route to the 2027 U20 Africa Cup of Nations.
