President Akufo-Addo with Kpembewura
The paramount chief of Kpembe, Kpembewura Babanye Haruna Bismark, has praised President Akufo-Addo for the massive development projects in the East Gonja municipality of the Savannah region.
According to the Kpembewura, under the stewardship of the president, Salaga and its environs has witnessed massive developmental projects and programmes including sustainable water supply, three ongoing market projects, modern AstroTurf park, completion of a modern warehouse facility, a rice factory, a regional feeder roads office complex, ongoing Salaga township roads, Tamale-Mankango and Debra-Fulfulso road among others.
“These projects have given the municipality a facelift we never expected and we are grateful your Excellency,” he said.
He indicated that the vision and policies of the president have been beneficial and impactful to the people of East Gonja and expressed his gratitude on behalf of his people.
The Kpembewura however appealed to the government to extend road projects to Kafaba and surrounding community to curb robbery activities on that stretch.
He also requested the establishment of a university in the area to absorb students who complete Senior High School (SHS).
The Kpembewura assured the president of his continuous support to ensure that his administration is successful for the betterment of the Savannah region and the country as a whole.
“You are already an enviable President and we can only pray to Allah to give you more wisdom, sound health and guidance to govern mother Ghana well.”
The chief made this known when President Akufo-Addo paid a courtesy call on him at his palace at Kpembe.
