At the 2024 edition of Tidal Rave, held on Saturday, October 12, musician Kwesi Arthur pulled off an unexpected act that has since got many people talking.
During his performance, the rapper surprised the crowd by preparing and eating ‘gari soakings’ live on stage.
Holding a plain plastic bowl, Kwesi Arthur poured gari into it, added water and accompaniments, and mixed it all. While performing one of his hit songs, he took two spoonfuls of the mixture before handing the bowl to a member of his crew and continuing his performance.
Fans at the event were thrilled by the spontaneous act, with many singing along and capturing the moment on their phones.
