Osei and Lamini
Former Asante Kotoko Board Member Alhaji Abu Lamini has added his voice to the many who are calling for the appointment of Michael Osei as Kotoko’s substantive coach.
Osei, since taking over from former head coach David Duncan has delivered an above average performance, hence the campaign for the top post.
He has as a result suggested the appointment of a sporting director to support the coach.
The former chairman of the African Cup Committee indicated that “I think Mike is doing great and needs our support to succeed.”
I have absolute confidence in him, he will take the club to places when given the chance.”
“The formation of an IMC, appointment of a technical director to do scouting for the coach is the best way to go.”
“We don’t have to rush, the IMC if formed, should support management till the end of the season,” the Tema Excellence Award winner added.
Kotoko are a point adrift from leaders Wa All Stars on the league log.
