The London School of Public Relations (LSPR) has launched its first African branch in Ghana to provide corporate communication training in public relations, reputation management, branding and writing skills.
The LSPR Ghana, which intends to blend training techniques with practical elements of management and consultancy to train participants, is being operated and managed by King Wellington Consulting, a Ghanaian management consulting firm.
Founder and Director of LSPR Worldwide, John Dalton, speaking at the launch, averred that there was the need to develop new ways and ideas of communicating and harmonizing with other people as well as developing the 21st century model of public relations.
He noted that LSPR Ghana specializes in public relations and reputation management, crisis management, media relations, and business development.
He added that other courses include brand management, human resource management, impression management, leadership, personal branding, and many more.
King A. Wellington, Executive Director of King Wellington Consultancy, assured prospective candidates and participants that LSPR Ghana would deliver quality training similar to what is being delivered at its London office.
He noted that its courses are accredited, approved and recognized by the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) UK.
London School of Public Relations was established 26 years ago and is currently running in 14 countries including United Kingdom, Croatia, Malaysia, Russia, and Qatar.
LSPR training includes short, intensive courses for new public relations and communications professionals.
