Lucky Mensah performing at the event
Highlife superstar Lucky Alex Mensah held audience at this year’s Ghana’s Independence Day anniversary celebration in Berlin, Germany, spellbound with his hit songs, as he moved them on their feet.Â
The venue was set ablaze when Lucky Mensah mounted the stage after the audience had witnessed performances from the DJs.
He delighted the audience with his danceable highlife songs, which turned the entire venue into a dancehall, with everyone dancing and singing along to the tunes.
He performed most of his hit songs such as ‘Wooti Akoma’,’ I Miss You’, ‘Old School’,’ Aduu Sumo Akwadu’, ‘Nkratoo’ among others.
His creative skills, stagecraft and style of performing were well acknowledged by the audience.
Those who could not show their dancing skills were up on their feet waving miniature flags of Ghana and with body movements in tune with rhythm.
The event was attended by traditional leaders in the various Ghanaian communities in Germany who were in their splendid ‘kente’ attire and other traditional dresses.
It was purely a national event with no show of political colours except the exhibiting of Ghana flag.
Ghana’s Ambassador to Germany, Gina Ama Blay, tasked resident Ghanaians to show love to one another and live in peace as the theme of this year’s celebration reflects.
