Freezy Macbones
Thirty three-year-old UK-based Ghanaian boxer Freezy Macbones, who is posing to become one of the best boxers, is set to face Darryl Sharp on April 15 in London, live on BT Sports.
Many boxing fans who see Macbones as a talented boxer have tipped him to win his upcoming fight with Sharp by second round Knock Out.
Brixton-based Macbones is looking to take the sport by storm like Mike Tyson.
Born Seth Gyimah, the Ghanaian born boxer who moved to London from Ghana in 2012, has only been boxing for around six years – but has already created a menacing aura about him.
Ever since he became a boxer, Freezy has been drawing comparisons to Tyson, having utilised the ‘Peekaboo’ fighting style that ‘Iron Mike’ mastered during his active years.
In a recent interview with Sky Sports, he revealed that he has been turning the negativities caused by his amateur defeats into positive ones.
In fact, the heavy-hitting Knock Out artist even admitted that it makes him a ‘savage animal.’
He has shared clips of him in the gym with former WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua.
Freezy started boxing from 2017 at the age of 27 despite being told time and time again that he would “never make it”. He has surprised many people over the years with his sheer hunger and dedication to the sport. During his amateur days, he was working two jobs (kitchen porter & cleaner) day and night. This was difficult, as training was always at the forefront of his mind.
While training to be a success in the sport, Freezy also started a community boxing session for people in the local area to help everyone keep fit and healthy.
His first amateur fight at Miguel’s gym Freezy had a 25 second KO, following that when he started training at Double Jab, he had a 9 second KO, which is the quickest they had seen! Freezy was also a Haringey Gold Medal Champion in 2019.
As amateur boxer, Freezy managed to independently self-market himself to grow an astounding +350,000 followers across all social media platforms.
He has gone viral on social media many times, once where even the legends 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather reposted one of his famous Knock Outs.
