Maccasio Storms Accra With ‘Total Shut Down’ Concert

Sherif Abdul Majeed, known in the music scene as Maccasio, will host a major musical concert dubbed ‘Total Shut Down Concert’ at the Bukom Square in Accra on Sunday, October 28.

He will perform with some selected hiplife, dancehall and Afro-pop artistes from both northern and southern part of the country.

The event, which is expected to attract thousands of music fans from all walks of life in and around Accra, according to the artiste, will be one of the biggest concerts held in the capital.

Maccasio, who has shared stages with a number of popular artistes like Davido, Shatta Wale, Samini, Stonebwoy, VVIP, among others, is expected to thrill fans with some of his popular songs like ‘Dagomba Girl’,’ 69 Fans’, ‘Too Big’, ‘Work’, ‘That Girl’, ‘Rap Skills’,’ Ninsala’, among others.

According to Maccasio’s management (ZOLA Music), all the artistes billed to rock the stage alongside Maccasio will be announced a few days to the event.

The concert, his management added, is being organised to entertain music fans and promote Maccasio and his brand.

Last year’s event featured artistes such as Iwan, Guru, Fareed, Kofi Kinaata, Rudeboy Ranking, Dr Cryme, Sherrifa Gunu and AJ Nelson.

The hiplife artiste, who joined the music industry over a decade ago, launched his first album titled ‘Boussu’ (My Boss) in March 2014. His second album, ‘Oshihila Nkpe’ (She Touches Me), was also launched in 2015.

Maccasio released his third studio album titled ‘Ninsala’ (Human Being) on August 19, 2017.

Maccasio hosted Shatta Wale at the Tamale Stadium during his ‘Too Big Concert’ in Tamale in 2016, an event that saw the stadium filled to capacity.
