Mahama’s 24-Hour Economy Lacks Clarity – Dr. Tedam

Dr. I.T Yussif Tedam

Former NPP National Treasurer aspirant, Dr. I.T. Yussif Tedam,  says  former  President John  Mahama’s  proposed  “24-hour economic policy”  lacks clarity and fails to outline  strategies for implementation.

He said after months of the Policy’s announcement, it remains ‘vague’, mythical of a politician seeking power for prestige rather than solutions.

He questioned how such a flagship policy could be voluntary without a calculated system for inclusivity and efficiency.

Dr. Tedam, in an interview with journalists in Accra said the policy is in sharp contrast with the clear policies Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia intends to implement in January 2025 when voted into office.

He highlighted that some of the policies of the NPP such as creating jobs, implementing wide-ranging tax reforms, building Ghana into a world-class digital economy, and promoting affirmative action for women and girls, which are comprehensive, gives Ghanaians confidence in the leadership of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

He, therefore, urged Ghanaians to vote for Dr. Bawumia on Saturday, December 7 to continue with the legacy of President Akufo-Addo given his development achievements particularly the introduction of the Free Senior High School (Free SHS)  Policy,  and massive infrastructure projects across the country.

He also announced an exclusive transportation arrangement to facilitate travel for voters residing in Accra who are registered in the Northern, Western, Western North, and Oti Regions.

He said the support also covers transport, feeding, and accommodation, ensuring ease for voters travelling to their polling stations while asking people to contact Dr. Tedam’s Secretariat via 0201928505/0244375849 for further assistance.
