The Ghana Black Stars have lost their first game since the outbreak of the coronavirus.
The Stars went down 3-0 to Mali in a friendly match on Friday, October 9, 2020.
Hamari Traore put Mali ahead within just the third minute of the match.
For the most part of the match staged at the Emir Hotel Sports Complex in Antalya, Turkey, the Malians outperformed the C.K. Akornor-led Black Stars.
The first half ended in 1-0 win in favor of Mali.
Back from the break, the Malians continued their dominance of the game, netting their remaining two goals.
In the 48th minute, El Bilal Toure increased the score to 2-0, as he tapped in a cross Traore delivered.
The Eagles of Mali wrapped up the match in the 78th with a fine strike from Amadou Haidara.
