FOLLOWING THE intervention of the Ghana Police Service after news of the Mamprobi Polyclinic baby thief went viral, the newborn mother has reunited with the child.
This was a result of collaborative efforts between the Police Service, the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Ablekuma South, West and Obododiodio Members of Parliament.
The Minister, Naa Momo Lartey, together with the MPs, visited Mamprobi Polyclinic following the alleged baby theft incident to assess the situation and engage hospital authorities.
They donated items including baby nutritional products, toiletries, and an undisclosed amount of money for the upkeep of the baby.
Authorities have confirmed that the suspect has been arrested and is currently in police custody, assisting with ongoing investigations.
