Miss Sublime Ghana is a unique and vibrant national pageantry that seeks to crown a queen who embodies not only beauty and grace, but also a deep appreciation and mastery of Ghana’s rich culinary traditions. Unlike conventional pageants, Miss Sublime Ghana places a special emphasis on contestants’ ability to prepare authentic traditional Ghanaian meals, showcasing the diverse flavours and cultural heritage that define the nation’s cuisine.

Chief Executive Officer of Miss Sublime Ghana, Zainab Queennet Kuffour Abdul Nasser, said the competition challenged participants to demonstrate their cooking skills, knowledge of indigenous ingredients, and respect for time-honoured recipes passed down through generations.

“By blending elegance with culinary expertise, Miss Sublime Ghana aims to promote Ghanaian culture, empower women, and inspire renewed pride in local gastronomy.

“Beyond the kitchen and catwalk, the pageant encourages community engagement, cultural education, and entrepreneurship, making Miss Sublime Ghana a platform where beauty meets tradition and where culinary artistry becomes a tool for cultural preservation and national pride,” she said.

Zainab Queennett said she looks forward to the second edition of Miss Sublime Ghana, “where we will once again honour the essence of Ghanaian beauty and tradition, encouraging even more women to shine on this unique platform. Until then, let the spirit of culture and cuisine continue to inspire us all.”
