After nine thrilling weeks of perfect matchmaking, Martin and Tessy, affectionately known as Martess, were crowned winners of the second season of TV3‘s 24/7 reality show, Perfect Match Xtra.

Martess’ journey captivated audiences, leaving them eagerly anticipating each episode. From Tessy’s heartbreak and abandonment by her first love, Jeychrys, to the drama and challenges faced in the reality house, their love story culminated in a heartwarming victory, as Martin stood by her side and expressed his unwavering love from the very beginning.

The Martess relationship received widespread acclaim and support from devoted viewers who rooted for them to emerge as the ultimate winners of the season.

As a reward for their triumph, Martin and Tessy received cash prizes of GH¢25,000 each, an all-expense-paid trip abroad by courtesy of Adansi Travels, smartphones from Hisense, a month of spa treatments, grooming services from Lee Jay Looks, and other products from the show’s sponsors.

In second place, Drill and Rosey (Drisey) secured a prize of GH¢20,000, a local trip, smartphones from Hisense, a two-week spa treatment from St. Theresa’s Spa, and various products from the sponsors.

Jason and Darlyne claimed the third position, earning themselves a month-long spa session, a romantic dinner for two, and a cash prize of GH¢10,000, along with numerous prizes from the show’s sponsors.

The voting results revealed that Martess garnered 1,117,863 votes, representing 39.94% of the total votes. Meanwhile, the first runners-up, Drill and Rose, secured 1,083,233 votes, equivalent to 38.70%. Jason and Darlyne received 598,008 votes to clinch the third position.

The second season of Perfect Match Xtra began with 14 housemates, including Jeychrys, Droiid, Kwame Sage, Jason, Drill, Benjamin, Frankie Touch, Darlyne, Jessica, Blessing, Dellki, Thessy, Tracy, and Rose. Hermes, Afia, Brymo and Jude later joined the housemates.

Undoubtedly, this season gained immense momentum and support from the viewers due to the compelling drama and interactions among the housemates.
