Adom FM Presenter, Michael Boateng, popularly known as Mike 2, will in the coming days celebrate his 22 years on radio.
Mike 2, who is the host of Adom Entertainment Hall on Adom FM and After Drive, is a product of the African University College of Communications (AUCC).
The celebration, which has been kept secret from the industry players, is meant to be a get-together for his listeners and a section of his colleagues.
Some selected radio DJs and presenters of Asaase Radio will be there to thrill invited guests with good tunes. There will also be performances from some of the country’s finest artistes.
For the past years, Mike 2 has thrilled listeners with his creative style of play and presentation, and many radio listeners see him as one of the creative radio presenters in the country today.
As part of activities lined-up to celebrate his 22 years on radio, Mike 2 will donate to some needy homes as well as host cocktail party for his listeners, the venue for the party will be announced later.
The party will also serve as a networking and socialisation platform to bring together his friends and listeners.
With over two decades experience on radio, Mike 2’s professionalism and ability to connect with listeners have distinguished him as one of the entertainment radio personalities in the country.
In an interview with BEATWAVES, he said, “God and humility have been my pillars all these years, and I will continue making my listeners proud.”
Mike 2, who has made a lot of impact on Adom FM with his show, said he would continue to work hard to maintain his image on the scene.
He recounted his journey from Sunrise FM, Koforidua, Obuoba FM at Nkwakaw, Crusading Guide before finally joining Adom FM.
He, however, expressed his appreciation to his listeners, adding that the listeners have showed him lots of love, “and they accepted me faster than expected.”
