One of Miss Ghana contestants on stage
The Miss Ghana 2020 talent show which was held via a virtual platform came off successfully in spite of the heavy downpour on Saturday.
Contestants put in their best to exhibit different talents to win the hearts of the Miss Ghana judges.
According to the organisers, the top three talent winners would, however, be announced at a later date.
“It is a great pleasure to honour all our courageous and talented 20 contestants. We believe that each of you uniquely displayed abilities that were immeasurable, especially in these challenging times,” Inna Patty, CEO of Exclusive Events Ghana, congratulated the ladies.
“As organisers, Exclusive Events sincerely apologises for the delayed transmission of this year’s talent show. It was due to technical problems brought about by the heavy rains; much as we would have loved to start on time,” she added.
Whilst adhering to government ordinances of safe practices against COVID-19, contestants engaged in talents such as singing, dancing, painting, poetry recitals and acting.
There were also themes around self-love, cultural pride, streetism, poverty and women rights, which most of the time got the judges elated.
Judges for this year’s virtual talent show were Akumaa Mama Zimbi, Sandra Nimpong, H.H Prince Etornam Attipoe (CEO of Newmax Group) and Inna Patty.
The talent show was powered by Exclusive Events Ghana Limited in partnership with Kri8 Concepts and supported by Tang Palace Hotel, Bel Aqua & Bel Beverages, Pippas Health Centre, Notes Cosmetic, Poise Etiquette, Quality Care Medical Clinic, Akosombo Textile Limited, Snaxx Foods, Capitol Cafe & Restaurant, Kholibea Accessories and Wove It Sashes.
