Musician Mr. Drew has revealed that he is currently exploring new opportunities after parting ways with Highly Spiritual Music in 2023.
In an interview with MX24 TV, Mr. Drew disclosed that he had been approached by a record label with an offer, but he has yet to make a decision.
“We had talked in the past years, but they came back again and were like, ‘Right now we have one slot for one more artiste.’ There’s a slot there, but I’m still thinking about it,” Mr. Drew shared.
Mr. Drew, known for his participation in MTN Hitmaker, was previously signed to Highly Spiritual Music, a label founded by music producer and engineer, Kaywa.
He parted ways with the label after five years due to unfavourable terms and conditions in the contract that he later discovered.
Discussing his departure from Highly Spiritual Music, Mr. Drew revealed that his time with the label was fraught with significant challenges, including financial struggles that once led him to consider selling his car.
Despite these difficulties, he emphasised that the decision to leave was mutual and amicable, with no lingering conflicts.
As Mr. Drew weighs his options, fans eagerly await news of his next move in the music industry.
