American actor and wrestler, John Cena, has revealed that his biggest fear is that he would never be ready to be a “great parent”.
The 47-year-old, who has been married twice without kids, explained that he would never be ready to invest the time needed to be a parent.
“My biggest fear is I don’t think I’m personally ready, nor will I ever be, to invest the time it takes to be a great parent,” Cena said in a recent interview with Club Shay Shay.
“Because I still have a lot to do and I still want to do a lot. I have a wonderful partner; we’ve had open conversations about this. We share the same values.
“It’s a tough subject to talk about because it immediately puts you in a category. People tend to judge. Human nature, we are all judgmental. But I operate under the construct that everyone is okay living their lives.
“I’m very happy with where I stand. I have a lot of joy and fulfillment in my life,” he stated.
John Cena got married to Elizabeth Huberdeau on July 11, 2009. On May 1, 2012, Cena filed for divorce, which was finalised on July 18.
On October 12, 2020, Cena married girlfriend, Shay Shariatzadeh, whom he had been dating since early 2019, in a private ceremony in Tampa, Florida.
Both marriages did not produce kids.
