‘My Husband Is Tool For Change’

Rebecca Akufo-Addo speaking at the event

The wife of the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Rebecca Akufo-Addo has said that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will tremendously improve Ghana’s economy.

According to her, Nana Addo and his running mate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, if given the nod to steer the affairs of this country, would lessen the suffering Ghanaians are going through currently under the Mahama administration.

She further asserted that her husband would reduce the high utility tariffs, taxes, electricity, as well as fuel prices to provide job opportunities for the youth in the country.

Mrs. Akufo-Addo therefore urged Ghanaians to vote out the National Democratic Congress (NDC) come November 7 polls.

“This incompetent and corrupt government has brought nothing but hardship to Ghanaians and needs to be shown the exit come November 7 to bring the change and relief Ghanaians are yearning for,” she stated.

She made these remarks when she visited the House of Prayer Ministries and the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in the Ningo-Prampram Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

Mrs Akufo-Addo and her entourage were given a rousing welcome by members of the congregation who cheered at the mention of the name of her husband during the service.

On his part, the parliamentary candidate of the NPP for the Ningo-Prampram Constituency, Sylvester Tetteh appealed to the electorate to vote for Nana Addo and himself to bring massive development to the country.

Mr Tetteh promised to offer good leadership and properly represent the people of Ningo-Prampram in Parliament.

He further declared that many Ghanaians were determined to vote massively for the party to make Nana Akufo-Addo the next president of Ghana.
