Actress Kisa Gbekle says her greatest inspiration and motivation comes from her mother, who she will sacrifice anything to make happy.
Speaking in an interview with NEWS-ONE on Thursday ahead of this year’s Mothers’ Day celebration, the actress and producer recounted the difficulties her mother encountered in bringing her up.
“My mother means everything to me, you have no idea,” she stated.
“Our struggles, the begging on the streets and beaches to feed are my fondest memories of being with her. She is a very strong survivor and she has trained me to become a strong and a good woman,” she added.
Millions of people around the world will be celebrating their mothers on Sunday, May 12.
In Ghana, different activities have been scheduled to take place as part of the celebration, including actress Luckie Lawson’s dinner event for 10 hardworking single mothers in Accra.
