NANA OWUSU Acheampong, a businessman, recently donated 100 bags of cement and an amount of GH¢2,000 as labor cost to the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency office of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti region.
The gesture was aimed at helping the NPP to rehabilitate its office.
Presenting the items, he commended the leadership for the effort they had made to build a permanent office for the party.
He additionally pledged his unending support for the work until it was completed.
Constituency Chairman, Adjei Dankwah, who received the donation on behalf of the party, expressed gratitude to Nana Owusu Acheampong for the kind gesture.
In another development, Nana Owusu Acheampong, over the weekend organized a free training on the installation of a bio-fill toilet digester system for about 100 men in the community.
He also organized free training on the making of bleach, liquid soap, hair pomade and many other household detergents for the women.
In addition, he also distributed GTP cloths to some of the women and registered them on the National Health Insurance Scheme free of charge.
After the training, certificates were awarded by the renowned trainers.
He noted that the initiative was to enable the trainees to compete in the job market and also boost their confidence.
Nana, who is a strong believer in empowering people to make them financially independent, also outlined some other programs he intended rolling out.
He also advised the beneficiaries to make good use of the training they had acquired and assured them of his continuous support.
