Nana Yaa Serwaa Sarpong Honoured At Forty Under 40 Awards

Nana Yaa Serwaa Sarpong, a multiple award-winning media practitioner and an accomplished entrepreneur, has been honoured at the 2020 Forty Under 40 Awards event held in Accra.

This was in recognition of her consultancy prowess which gained her the award under the category of consultancy and professional service.

The 2020 Forty Under 40 Awards scheme announced its winners on Friday, September 25 at the Kempinski Hotel, Accra.

Organised by X-odus communications, the awards scheme is designed to annually recognise the contributions and efforts of influential and accomplished young business fellows under the age of 40 across the sectors of the economy.

Priority was given to individuals with demonstrated commitment to business growth, professional excellence and community service.

In her remarks, Ms. Sarpong dedicated her award to all those who have contributed to her journey of excellence in media and entrepreneurship, including her esteemed clients.

Her long and distinguished career in television started back in 1999 with Fontonfrom TV.

She supervised the setting-up, design and management of several TV stations which included all three Crystal TV channels, Multimedia Group’s Cine Afrik, 4kids, The Jesus Channel and Joy Prime Channel which she managed until September 2019.

She is passionate about using entrepreneurial approach to manage brands in her care with the motive of sustainability and profit making.

Ms. Sarpong continues in her media leadership and entrepreneurship stride through industry consultancy.

Her journey in entrepreneurship started in 2007 and spans numerous business portfolios which ranged from fashion, marketing, telecom, among others.

She is currently the owner and CEO of the frontline business and consulting firm, Elohay Group.
