Nana Yaa
After releasing major hit songs which have enjoyed massive air play in the capital and beyond, sensational Afro-pop singer Nana Yaa is set to release her new album after entering the music scene not too long ago.
Following her release of hit singles like ‘My Hunny’, ‘Don’t Leave Me’ featuring MzVee and her most recent release, ‘Woman Power’, Nana Yaa, who is popularly called Manye 1 by her fans, will be releasing her first extended playlist (EP) in August.
Recently, she gave a sterling stage performance at the July edition of the Aftown Acoustic concert, where she performed covers from Adele, Asa and her popular rendition of Runtown’s ‘Mad Over You’ which thrilled the audience.
The tides changed when it was time for her to perform her own songs. What was intended to be an acoustic performance turned out to be a Karaoke as her fans sang her songs word-for-word in a dramatic style. The fans could not have enough of her.
The icing on the cake of her performance was when she exclusively performed three of the songs on her yet-to-be released.
Nana Yaa, however, did not give the name of the project but assured her fans and all music lovers that it would be worth the wait and urged them to anticipate a great masterpiece.
She disclosed that it would be an exciting project with names of big artistes like Edem, Kuame Eugene, Shaker, Gasmilla and FlowkingStone all featured on it.
