Nestlé Nutrition Line (NNL), a public service radio programme by Nestlé Ghana aimed at educating Ghanaian consumers on good nutrition, has been adjudged the ‘Best Content’ at the National Public Relations and Communications Awards.
The sixth edition of the awards themed, ‘Deriving Value from Values’ was organized by the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Ghana to celebrate excellence in PR practice in Ghana.
Ama Amoah, Corporate Communications & Public Affairs Manager of Nestlé Ghana, who received the award, said Nestlé, the leading Nutrition Health and Wellness company, employs diverse means to promote healthy nutrition and lifestyle among Ghanaians.
“Education is a powerful tool in helping individuals and families make the right food choices. NNL has been running for the past 18 years. We are grateful to the IPR Ghana for recognizing Nestlé’s efforts in creating public awareness on healthy living, she said.”
Mrs Amoah dedicated the award to all Ghanaians and their families and urged them to constantly educate themselves on healthy food choices to enhance their wellbeing.
The Nestlé Nutrition Line is broadcast in English and Twi on Ghanaian radio stations.
It provides consumers and public with basic nutritional information on a daily basis to help them build sound nutrition knowledge and empowers them to make informed choices on their diet.
