The Methodist Primary School in Juaben in the Ashanti Region has a modern head teacher’s office, a facility which was put up by the Appianyinasehene Nana Kwanin Kwanfo II.
The handover ceremony of the facility also saw the chief presenting special awards, boxes of exercise books, boxes of soft drinks and other items worth thousands of Cedis to brilliant but needy pupils of the school.
He also presented a cheque of an unspecified amount to the head teacher and his hardworking staff as well as crates of mineral water and other items.
He said “We have been supporting the Juabeng paramountcy for many years, and this forms part of my annual book donation to first year Junior High School (JHS 1) students in the Juabeng paramountcy.
“It is my contribution to the promotion of education in the country; we dedicate this facility to the glory of God.”
Head teacher of the school, Steven Dukper expressed profuse thanks to Appianyinasehene for the gesture and promised to maintain the edifice constantly.
