Hamdalatu Adbulai
The chief executive officer of Al-Wahhab the Giver of All, a non-governmental organization (NGO), Hamdalatu Adbulai, has donated a number food items, clothes among others to some needy parents at Adam Nana a suburb of Kasoa in the Central Region.
Among the items donated included food items such as rice, books for their children, clothes among others.
During the presentation, the CEO, said the donation formed part of her outfit plans to give back to society, adding that it was the gift to the needy parents who needed support from people like her and her organisation.
Speaking to the children, Madam Hamdalatu encouraged them to learn extra hard to become influential people in society, despite the poor conditions they found themselves in now.
She pointed out that government alone could not support needy parents as well as needy homes, calling on all Ghanaians, particularly the well to do, to contribute generously towards the welfare of the marginalized in the society.
Some of the parents who benefited from the items were full of praise for the NGO for the donation and hoped that this will not be the end of such donations.
They were also grateful to all the sponsors who made the donation possible.
Hamdalatu Adbulai was in 2016 honoured by a number of organization including the Moslem Youth for Education Ghana Leadership Council for her outstanding, dedication, commitment and fight against female genital mutilation, forced marriage and labour, girl child trafficking in the Northern Region.
