Nigeria has recorded 170 new cases of coronavirus.
The new cases have increased its total confirmed cases to 2558.
This is according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
NCDC says deaths have as of 12am on May 3, 2020, jumped from 85 to 87.
It made this known in a tweet on its official Twitter handle.
The Centre reported that 400 persons who were being treated for the virus have been discharged.
