The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NNAGOT Quarry Limited, Nana Nobeng Amo-Gottfried, has donated food items worth thousands of cedis to the Ghana Para-Powerlifting Association at the offices of the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) to help athletes amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
At a short presentation ceremony in Accra yesterday, he urged the athletes to adhere to safety precautions prescribed by the Ghana Health Service and promised to support their preparations towards the paralympic games.
Nana Amo-Gottfried also promised the Ghana Para-Powerlifting team to support them with building materials towards its construction of an indoor training facility.
He urged the general public to come to the aid of the national athletes as they are still at home and preparing to lift the flag of Ghana high when the games begin.
Officials of the Ghana Para-Powerlifting Association expressed immense appreciation to the donor for the gesture.
