Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, the newly elected flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has continued to host well wishers at his residence following the declaration of the results of the presidential primaries held last Saturday.
Prominent among the visitors was the national leadership of the party.
During the visit, the newly elected leader and presidential candidate pledged to unite the party and assured the party leadership of his commitment to delivering victory for the NPP in the upcoming general elections as a team.
Also calling on the Vice President last Monday was a delegation of Dagombas resident in Accra.
They were led by the Chief of the Dagomba community in Accra, Alhaji Abdul Kadir Tahir. Members of the delegation included Dagomba chiefs of various suburbs in the nation’s capital.
