Francis Adomako, the Ashanti Regional NPP Organizer, presenting Mathematical Instruments to one of the BECE candidates
SOME SELECTED Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the Asawase constituency have been provided with free mathematical sets, pens and pencils.
The largesse kindly came through Mr. Francis Adomako, the newly elected Ashanti Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who is a university lecturer.
The items were presented to some selected candidates in 10 schools in the constituency, who come from poor homes and could not afford the mathematical sets.
Mr. Adomako, in an interview with the DAILY GUIDE, stated that his commendable action is to assist the beneficiaries so that they could take their examinations peacefully.
According to him, there have been situations where some BECE candidates have performed poorly because they lacked key items such as mathematical instruments.
Mr. Adomako stated that he didn’t want BECE candidates from poor homes in the Asawase constituency to go through such painful ordeal for which reason he decided to supply the items to them.
He wished the BECE candidates in the country good luck, urging them to pass their examinations in order for them to benefit from the free Senior High School (SHS) policy by the NPP administration.
The headmaster of Sepe Timpong JHS, Mrs. Benita Quainoo, commended Mr. Adomako for his kindness and urged other well-to-do people to emulate his shining example.
