NPP Tasks Parliamentary Candidates To Spend 4 Days In Constituencies

In a bid to bolster its chances in the upcoming December 7 general elections, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has directed its parliamentary candidates to spend a minimum of four days per week in their respective constituencies.

This move aims to address concerns over some candidates’ lack of engagement with constituents, which could negatively impact the party’s performance in both presidential and parliamentary polls.

Engage or Risk Defeat

In a statement, the NPP General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, warned candidates that their absence could “significantly affect our electoral fortunes.”

The party has also tasked regional campaign teams with monitoring and reporting on candidates’ activities.
