The National Women’s Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kate Gyamfua, has been engaging with traditional leaders in the Eastern Region to mobilize support for the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, ahead of the December 7 general election.
Over the weekend, she had the privilege of meeting with the Kyebi Queen Mothers and the Akuapem Queen Mothers, where she discussed critical matters affecting the region and the country at large.
She also held a private meeting with the Okuapemhemaa, where they deliberated on strategies to secure victory for the NPP in the upcoming elections.
Gyamfua expressed her confidence in the region’s readiness to play a pivotal role in securing victory for the NPP.
She was particularly inspired by the commitment and support from the respected traditional leaders, who she believes will make significant contributions towards the party’s shared goal.
This engagement is part of Gyamfua’s nationwide tour, which has seen her interact with various women’s groups and traditional leaders.
Her interactions have convinced her that women in Ghana are ready to vote massively for Dr. Bawumia.
As the elections draw near, Gyamfua has urged all party members and supporters to intensify their efforts, mobilize votes, and ensure that Dr. Bawumia receives a decisive mandate alongside a strong parliamentary majority to implement his transformative agenda for Ghana.
With the support of traditional leaders and women’s groups, the NPP is confident of securing victory in the upcoming elections.
As Gyamfua emphasized, “Women will be instrumental in Bawumia’s win”.
