NPP Women’s Wing Hits Grounds For Bawumia

In a strategic move to galvanize female support for the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the National Women’s Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has embarked on a comprehensive nationwide campaign.

Led by the National Women’s Organizer, Kate Gyamfua, the campaign kicked off in the Bono Region, where she met with Constituency Women Executives, identifiable groups, and women traders.

The engagements aimed to empower women to lead campaigns in their constituencies and mobilize support for the party.

Notably, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, running mate to Dr. Bawumia, joined the women’s wing at some of the events, underscoring the party’s commitment to women’s empowerment.

The NPP Women’s Wing believes that the party’s women-centric policies and initiatives make it the obvious choice for Ghanaian women.

With the campaign slogans “Women On The Move” and “It Is Possible,” the wing is poised to make a significant impact on the election.

This campaign marks a significant shift in the party’s strategy, recognizing the critical role women play in Ghanaian politics.
