THE POLICIES of President Akufo-Addo aimed at improving the lives of Ghanaians have been showcased in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

This was when the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Youth Wing, led by Henry Nana Boakye aka ‘Nana B’, stormed the streets of Kumasi on Saturday.

The party members were seen holding different sizes of placards, which boldly captured the various programmes of the NPP government.

Some of the inscriptions included the famous ‘free SHS’, ‘One District, One Factory’ and the ‘Planting for Food and Jobs’ programme.

Others inscriptions on the placards were the ‘Restoration of Teacher and Nursing Trainee Allowance’, ‘Dumso is Gone Forever’ and among others.

Dubbed ‘Thank You Walk’, the walk started from Bantama through to the Golden Tulip area, to Adum, Asafo Interchange, Labour roundabout and ended at the Jubilee Park.

The walk attracted a sizable number of Ghanaian youth and NPP members in Kumasi, who were happy about the performance of government so far.

During the walk, those who attended the programme were seen singing victory songs. Some of them were also seen chanting President Akufo-Addo’s name.

Speaking with DAILY GUIDE, Nana B stated that Ghanaian youth, especially those in the Ashanti Region, were grateful to the NPP administration for delivering.

According to him, the government had created jobs for the youth and also introduced several policies to enhance their lives and they wanted to express their appreciation.
