Obrafour
It doesn’t look like Obrafour is really serious about claims that he has changed his name to ‘Rap Sofo’.
This is because the ‘Pae Mu Ka’ crooner is still actively using the old name (Obrafour) on his various social media platforms.
Earlier this week, media reports quoted him for saying his followers should stop calling him Obrafour.
Currently, he prefers to be called ‘Rap Sofo’, literally meaning a ‘Rap Pastor’, and his reason is that he was divinely influenced to use the new name.
“Now I wouldn’t want to be called Obrafour anymore. I am saying this for the first time here,” the rapper said on Hitz FM.
Asked why, he responded, “I don’t know. There is something pushing me. I have said that I wouldn’t want to do anything in my own will and accord but wait to hear the voice of God.”
It is assumed that the name change will start to take effect from his social media platforms.
However, days after his announcement, he is still using the old name on his social media platforms.
As of Wednesday night when NEWS-ONE checked his social media platforms, the name was still being used. It was on Instagram and Twitter as @iamobrafour.
