Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, aka COKA
CHAIRMAN ODENEHO Kwaku Appiah (COKA), a leading contender in the Ashanti Regional NPP chairmanship race, has beckoned all aggrieved members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who have deserted the party, to return to the ruling political party.
According to COKA, the party needs total unity to retain political power and break the eight years reign cycle, in the 2024 elections.
“We cannot win the crucial presidential and parliamentary elections in 2024 without a full and a united house, and that is an undeniable fact,” he pointed out.
“Any aggrieved NPP member in the country and even outside Ghana, should forgive and forget and return to work for the party now. We collectively worked together to win elections 2016 and 2020, so we need to unite once again and work harder than ever to win the impending 2024 elections. The efforts and roles of every NPP member is important and needed to help us to retain power in 2024,” COKA said on Hello FM, a Kumasi-based radio station.
“When I am elected as Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman, I will make sure that the efforts and roles of every NPP member would be highlighted and applauded.
“Also, the current trend, whereby one person is claiming to be sole financier of the party in the region, will be relegated to the background,” COKA firmly indicated.
He said the party would go back to its olden days, where every party member contributed to help finance the party, saying that “one man show in NPP is over.”
Sounding very confident, COKA also said he was a unifier, and the right person to lead the NPP in the Ashanti Region to break the eight “so vote massively for me.”
He said, “I am the chosen one to help the NPP to break the eight in the Ashanti Region,” stressing that he would rekindle the old NPP spirit in the Ashanti Region.
