TWO ROBBERS, who openly threatened to deal ruthlessly with anyone who will resist them during their robbery operations, are now in police grips.
The duo have since been identified as Kwame Sarpong and Ibrahim Mohammed, residents of Aputuogya in the Ashanti Region.
Mohammed and Sarpong, who claimed to be hardened criminals, surprisingly, brandished sharp machetes and knives and recorded themselves in a video.
In the short video, which has since gone viral, the two suspects bragged that they rob innocent people of their valuables at will.
Mohammed and Sarpong, who seem to be in their mid-20s, threatened to deal ruthlessly with anyone who would stand in their way during their operations.
The two suspects then sent a strong caution to the public, indicating that they would strike very soon, but they did not disclose the location they intended to strike.
The weird video went viral on social media platforms such as Facebook and WhatsApp, and it suddenly attracted wide condemnation from the public.
Most of the viewers of the short video appealed to the police in the Ashanti Region to quickly apprehend the two suspects before they strike.
On Sunday, November 19, 2023, a police report said the two suspects, known as ‘Aputuogya gangsters’, have been arrested from their hideouts.
