The Ghana Police Service has launched a manhunt for suspect Mujaheed Suraj, alias Mims, for an alleged shooting incident during voting at the Awutu Senya East Constituency, in the Central Region.
This shooting incident resulted in the injury of one person in the leg.
Addressing journalist, Director of Ghana Police Public Affairs ACP Grace Ansah-Akrofi said the suspect absconded from the scene leaving behind his vehicle which is currently in Police custody.
“Police intelligence-led operation is underway to get the suspect arrested to face the full rigor of the law, and we want to assure the public that we will surely get him,” she assured.
