Police Save NDC Troublemaker …At Polling Station

The NDC troublemaker man being whisked away by the policemen

Some policemen prevented a mob from lynching a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at a polling station in the Asokwa Constituency yesterday.

The unidentified man reportedly stormed the Ahensan JHS Polling Station on Wednesday morning to cause mayhem without provocation.

He was said to have threatened to attack voters who were in a queue at the polling station.

The man, believed to be in his 40s, claimed that he had a knife on him and that he would use it to stab them.

His weird behaviour was said to have caused fear and panic among some of the women that had formed the queue.

Some of the people in the queue mustered courage and confronted him, thereby resulting in skirmishes at the place.

The mob became incensed when they later realized that the troublemaker was wearing an NDC shirt under his sea blue Lacoste.

The mob was about to lynch the troublemaker but some policemen appeared on the scene and saved him.

The police transported the said man to an unknown destination, Edmund Kyei, an eyewitness, told DAILY GUIDE.
