Zlatan Ibile
Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has publicly called out fellow musician, Zlatan Ibile, for allegedly attempting to create conflict between him and Davido.
Portable, famous for his hit track ‘Zazu’, accused Zlatan of trying to tarnish his reputation during a recent outing with Davido in Atlanta, USA.
Portable claimed that during their time together, Davido received a video call from Zlatan. He alleged that Zlatan used this opportunity to warn him not to misbehave around the DMW boss.
According to him, after the call, Davido mentioned hearing that Portable and another artiste, Dammy Krane, had dissed him in a song. Portable denied the accusation, stating it was false.
In an Instagram Live session, Portable expressed his frustration: “When Davido took me clubbing in America, Zlatan called him on a video call and he gave the phone to me. Zlatan started warning me to behave myself around Davido. Why would you call Davido while we were together and try to pick a fight with me on the phone for chilling with Davido? Did Wizkid not give you a chance? Why is Zlatan angry seeing me with Davido?”
Portable further complained that Zlatan’s call ruined the mood of the evening. “After Davido ended the call, he told me that he heard that I did a song with Dammy Krane beefing with him. I told him it was all lies. You guys should warn Zlatan to steer clear of my business,” he added.
The altercation has stirred conversations among fans and industry observers, highlighting the ongoing tensions and rivalries within the Nigerian music scene.
