The Omanhene of Prang Traditional Area in the Bono East Region, Nana Kwadwo Nyarko II, has expressed excitement at the progress of the Agenda 111 Hospital being constructed in Prang.
He thanked the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for adding Prang to its dream projects, and appealed to the government to expedite action for the contractor to complete the project on time, for the benefit of his people.
Nana Nyarko made the statement when he paid a surprise visit to the construction site with the media to inspect the state of the project. He said it is not for nothing that the sages say health is wealth, stressing that the contractor should work beyond human endurance to complete the project.
He promised the contractor that, as the Omanhene of Prang, he will also do his part by appealing to the government to make money available for completion of the project.
He also seized the opportunity to thank the Member of Parliament (MP) of Pru West, Stephen Jalulah, who also doubles as the Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways, for his meticulous actions towards the roads in the traditional area.
He appealed to the MP to work together with the District Assembly to ensure the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP) machines donated by the government for the maintenance of roads in the district is immediately put into use.
Nana Nyarko also admonished the District Assembly to take good care of the DRIP machines so that they could stand the test of time.
