President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will this week embark on a 3-day working visit to the Eastern Region.
The president, who has so far paid working visits to all the regions except his home region (Eastern), since assuming the presidency, is expected to end the tour on December 22.
As part of the visit, President Akufo-Addo will from tomorrow (Wednesday) inspect some ongoing projects at Somanya, Asesewa, Nkawkaw, Akyem–Afosu, Akwatia and Akyem–Apedwa.
A statement signed by Eastern Regional Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), David Prah, indicated that the president would also be honoured with a citation by the regional executive committee of the NPP on the last day of the visit.
He will also attend a durbar of the chiefs and people of the region and later attend a get-together dinner with over 2,000 school children at his hometown, Kyebi, on Friday.
