Prince David, Fred Nuamah, Others Attend 2019 Cannes Film Festival

Actor Prince David Osei and Fred Nuamah are among film stakeholders from around the world who are taking part in the 2019 edition of Cannes Film Festival in France.

This year’s festival is the 72nd edition and it opened on May 12.

It will be climaxed on May 25.

It is described as one of the biggest festivals in the world witnessed by a lot of film actors, directors, producers and film crews from different countries.

Mexican filmmaker Alejandro González is serving as jury president while American film director Jim Jarmusch’s ensemble zombie comedy film ‘The Dead Don’t Die’ served as the opening film of the festival. 

The festival honoured French filmmaker Agnès Varda, who died in March 2019, featuring her on the official poster of the festival. The photograph used was taken during the filming of her debut film ‘La Pointe Courte’ (1955), which later was later screened at the Cannes Film Festival. 

Selena Gomez, Julianne Moore, Rita Ora, Amber Heard, Elton John and a host of others were present at the ceremony

Prince David Osei and Fred Nuamah also attended the opening ceremony on May 14.

Prince shared photographs of himself granting photographs opportunity to his fans ahead of the opening ceremony while Fred shared his during his red carpet moment.

On Monday, Prince also shared another photograph with American actress Angela Dixon and another filmmaker.
