Prudential Bank has opened its first branch in the Eastern Region in Koforidua to bring banking services closer to customers in the area.
The new branch is the latest in the bank’s 39 branches operating across the country.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Stephen Asare, Deputy Managing Director, Finance, Administration and Credit Administration, said the opening of the new branch was in line with the bank’s strategic objective of building a stronger bank with a customer-friendly focus.
He said the bank was focused on building an indigenous and preferred brand, offering the most remunerative banking services to the public.
In pursuit of this, the bank is providing domestic and international banking services with a strategic focus on project financing, export development and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) financing, Mr. Asare said.
He noted that products and services offered by the bank have been designed to provide a delightful customer experience and a one-stop-shop banking services to all customers.
The bank, he noted, was in the process of launching its Visa Cards services later this year to complement other banking services, including Credit facilities, International banking, International Money Transfer, Specialised Retail banking, Electronic banking, bank accounts of different forms in both local and foreign currencies and Funds Management.
Richard Acolatse, Acting Deputy Managing Director, Banking Operations, said the objective of establishing the branch was to ensure that customers were offered the best and most rewarding banking services, adding that customers’ expectation would be satisfied with a unique service culture.
He urged the public to sign onto the numerous products and services offered by the bank to build a relationship that would yield mutual benefits.
