Quame Gyedu
Minister Quame Gyedu, one of Ghana’s most famous gospel singers, captivated worshippers at the Havillah Temple of the Gracefields Chapel last Sunday with stunning performances during the “Festival of Testimonies Concert” in Kumasi.
Minister Gyedu stormed the stage with confidence, beginning with solid but familiar worship songs and hymnals that prompted the audience to burst into prayer amidst the speaking of tongues.
Zooming into his personal versions of ”Kasa”, ”Merensesa Me Nyame”, ”Yesu Mo”, ”Osabarima”, and ”Oye”, Minister Gyedu had the audience on its feet, with some weeping hysterically and others praising and worshiping God.
He reminded the gathering that people thought Kumasi couldn’t get people to flock to gospel events, but the throng proved otherwise.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Ministers of the Gospel who were present, saying that their presence and prayers had made his 13th year of concerts possible.
Archbishop Akwasi Asare Bediako, General Overseer of the Resurrection Power and Living Bread, and Reverend Simon Ampofo, General Overseer of Gracefields Chapel, were both present at the concert.
Mr. Christian Agyeman, popularly known as Taabea, came to support Minister Quame Gyedu and was seen enjoying the ministry with his dancing abilities.
Ministers such as Sandra Oduro, Sandy Asare, Joshua Ahenkorah, and S.K Frimpong also ministered to the congregation.
Meanwhile, Minister Quame Gyedu plans to release a single track on November 10, 2023.
The track, titled ”Osabarima,” speaks about God’s mercies and protection.
Minister Gyedu said that the objective of the ”Osabarima” track is ”to bring the church and the world at large to the understanding that they are not consumed because God Almighty had preserved them and kept watch over his people.”
